Our mission is: - To create a regional network for ecotourism initiatives aiming to protect the natural environment, the eco-development and ecotourism, to promote and designate the agricultural heritage of Greece and the competitive advantages of the nature of Greece as long as to communicate and emerge all agro-tourist activities
- The development of networking and cooperation between ecological and cultural organizations as well as the ecotourism and cultural entrepreneurship and the development of alternative tourism, especially agro-tourism aiming to enhance local employment through innovative actions
- The effectuation of communicational programs and systematic information regarding all ecotourism actions that can be developed by the inhabitants of the country with common and entrepreneurial initiatives together with the promotion of the country using internet technologies, documentaries, tourist guides and other printed material, by creating web sites and databases for the promotion of agro-tourism and to support all of the pre-mentioned acts in the framework of social economy and green entrepreneurship
- To cooperate for claiming EU or national financing programs in the fields of culture, tourism and environment
- To create of supportive infrastructure to promote local products, local cuisine, natural parks, paths and tracks in order to offer a variety of motivation to visitors so as to encourage the visitation of the Greek country
- To participate in common fairs, seminars, galas, congresses and major communicational and cultural events as well as in actions that contribute in education and development of human resources
- To cooperate with other equivalent entities for alternative tourism in Greece and the EU for the implementation of financing programs and cultural and educational exchanges
- The uptake of cultural actions such as the creation of folk museums, festivities and trade fairs for local products
- The promotion of the idea of biological agriculture and husbandry in the Greek country
- The uptake of development initiatives for the promotion of outdoor activities (rafting, climbing, mountain biking, hiking etc) in the Greek country
- The promotion of the idea of the creation of recreation parks, sports facilities, hostels and camping sites from municipalities and organizations
- The creation of think-tanks that will operate as networks for scientists and will do research and present integrated proposals for alternative tourism
- The promotion of primary and applied research in order to utilize EU support for know-how transfer from EU to the Greek country
- To encourage the procedures of young people staying in the country and enhance their living level by cultural actions
